KOLLAM: The Chathannoor Excise seized ganja being smuggled in a car in Kollam. Three people have been arrested. Rajesh (36) of Poothakkulam Puthenkulam, Salahuddin (29) and Shibu (44) of Paripally Ezhipuram were arrested. The Maruti Alto car in which they were smuggling ganja was also taken into custody. The accused were nabbed by a team led by Chathannoor Excise Inspector M Krishna Kumar.

On interrogation, it was found that the second accused, Salahuddin, brought the ganja from Bengaluru and Rajesh provided the financial support for it. They were caught when ganja brought in the train from Bengaluru was carrying it in the car. The accused mobile phone was taken into custody for further investigation.
