KOCHI: In a tragic incident, an 11-year-old boy lost his life after he accidentally got entangled in the curtain of the room while playing. The boy has been identified as Devavardhan, son of Aneesh of Edakunnu Ambalassery House in Angamaly. He was a fifth class student of Palissery Government School.

The incident happened Monday evening. The police informed that when his mother went in search of him as no sound was heard from his room, found the curtain entangled around his neck. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Karukutty but his life could not be saved. He will be cremated this evening at Kidangoor SNDP Crematorium.
