THRISSUR: Five kilograms of ganja was seized from a protein powder shop. Cannabis was seized from an establishment called Protein Mall, which sells protein powder required for gymnasiums, in Westfort in Thrissur city. Cannabis was brought here from Assam in the name of medicine.

The search was conducted by the customs narcotics department based on the information that drugs were being sold. Shopkeeper Vishnu was taken into custody. Complaints were raised that he had sold drugs to many people including women. Vishnu's assistant was also taken into custody by the police.
