The second prize of 10 lakhs each was won by five people. The second prize goes to tickets MA 475211, MB 219556, MC 271281, MD 348108, and ME 625250.
Meanwhile, sales of the Thiruvonam Bumper Lottery, which has a first prize of Rs 25 crore, began today. The draw for this lottery is on September 20. The tickets were released by Finance Minister KN Balagopal. The ticket price is 500 rupees. The lucky symbol 'Grasshopper' is printed on the ticket. Grasshopper was made the official mascot as it is considered as a symbol of economic prosperity. 5,34,670 people will get the prize this time, which is higher than last year. Last year, 3,97,911 people had won prize money. The Minister said that the increase in the number of prize winners will increase the popularity of the lottery.
1 crore will be given to 20 people as the second prize in the Thiruvonam bumper. Last year, there was only one prize of 5 crores as the second prize. 50 lakhs each to 20 third-prize winners. 10 people will get the fourth prize of 5 lakhs each and 10 people will get the 5th prize of 2 lakhs each.
