THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader V T Balram has issued an apology to the mic operator after a case was registered over the incident of the microphone being damaged during the Chief Minister's speech. His response was conveyed through Facebook.

He acknowledged and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the mic operator due to a guest attending the event. The mic operator earns a living by renting out equipment on a daily basis, and in light of the situation, we are committed to doing our best to resolve the financial loss and psychological distress caused by the unexpected legal proceedings.
