MUVATTUPUZHA: A tragic incident occurred where a college student, Namitha lost her life after being hit by a speeding bike while crossing the road. Namitha, daughter of Raghu from Vadakkepushpakam, Valakam, Kunnaikal. She was a final year B.Com student at Muvattupuzha Nirmala College. Alongside her, Anushree Raj, another student and Anson Roy, who was riding the bike also sustained injuries in the accident. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital but Namitha's life could not be saved.

At the time of the accident, several students were waiting at a nearby bus stop. The injured, Anusree and Anson were admitted to a private hospital in Muvattupuzha. Namitha's body is kept at the medical centre.
