MALAPPURAM: A case has been registered against the police circle inspector for sexually abusing a woman on the pretext of marriage. The Kuttippuram Police registered a case against Thrissur Crime Branch circle inspector A C Pramod. A native of Alappuzha filed the complaint against Pramod.

Pramod, who was circle inspector in Kuttippuram, was transferred to Thrissur a month ago. The complaint is that he took her to various places and sexually abused her on the pretext of marriage.
