THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Democracy produces sense only when you work among the commonest of people, said CM Pinarayi Vijayan while addressing the civil service winners from the state. The CM was inaugurating a program organized by the State Civil Service Academy to felicitate the winners of the All India Civil Service and Indian Forest Service examinations held in 2022.
“Kerala works on the principle of public service and the state has eschewed the practice over the years. You people are the product of such a culture so the civil service administration should get benefited from your appointment. Always make it a point to connect with people and be responsible for the populace. Work on the ethos of humanity and inculcate the Kerala spirit in your professional work. AI and machine learning are slowly turning over the workspace culture, so it is too praiseworthy that you people have opted for public service leaving beyond the riches of technology. “ said CM.
Minister Dr. R. Bindu presided over the event. The minister said that the State Civil Service Academy is proud to have provided exam coaching at a lower fee than other private coaching centers in the business.
38 candidates cleared the civil service exam while 6 candidates passed the forest service exam. The Chief Minister distributed special gifts to all winners. Ishita Roy, Principal Secretary of the Department of Higher Education, and Rajeev Kumar Chaudhary, Director of the Center for Continuing Education addressed the event.
