THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman was arrested for choking her newborn baby to death. She has been identified as Julie. The police said Julie choked her baby to death soon after her delivery. She later dumped the body behind the toilet. The dogs may have taken the body from there and discarded it in the beach.

The body was found in the beach on July 18. The police then checked all the hospitals to trace the baby’s mother. The suspicion then reached to Julie. A medical examination revealed that she had given birth recently. With this, she had confessed to the crime. Her husband died a year ago. She has a 13-year-old son. It is being examined whether anyone has any role in the murder.
