IDUKKI: The intervention of Jaimon, a senior civil police officer of the Thodupuzha DySP office, helped to find Noushad, who went missing a year ago from Pathanamthitta. Jaimon's investigation based on the information provided by his relative led the police to trace Noushad.
Jaimon's relative informed him that there is someone like Noushad at Thommankuthu in Idukki. He had reached the area to confirm the information received. After seeing him, Jaimon realized that the person in front of him was Noushad and brought him to the station in his jeep. It is reported that Noushad did not know anything about the case.
Noushad's father Subair had filed a missing complaint with the Koodal police on November 5, 2021, stating that his son went missing from Paruthipara. An investigation was conducted by the police then but there was no significant progress. However, his wife Afsana's statement that she killed and buried him created a big uproar. She later changed her statement and said that she dumped the body into the river. Noushad was found in Thodupuzha while the investigation was in progress.
Meanwhile, Afsana expressed her desire to bring Noushad back. This prompted the police to investigate about Noushad. Noushad told media that he did not know why his wife had given a statement to the police that she had killed him.
'I'm afraid to go back now. My wife had constantly harassed me. Some others along with my wife had attacked me. I did not know that the case in my name has become such an incident. He said that he was not in touch with his family for about a year and a half. Noushad said that he had thought that his wife has some mental issues.
