NEW DELHI: Leaders from the opposition alliance 'India' will visit Manipur today and tomorrow. 21 MPs from 16 opposition parties in the alliance are travelling to riot-torn Manipur. The opposition leaders have informed that they will first visit the hilly areas and then the valley.
The opposition group will meet the governor at 10 am on Sunday. The visit will be done in two groups. The team comprising MPs from Kerala E T Muhammad Bashir (Muslim League), N K Premachandran (RSP), A A Rahim (CPM) and Santhosh Kumar (CPI) along with Lakshadweep MP Muhammad Faisal will visit Kuki and Meitei camps in Manipur. The tour will be completed on Sunday and the report will be submitted to the President and the government.
