MUMBAI: Six people have died in a bus collision in Maharashtra. The incident took place at 2.30 am in the Malkapur area on NH 53 in Buldhana district. Twenty people were injured.

The bus owned by Balaji Travels was returning from Amarnath to Hingoli district and the bus owned by Royal Travels was going to Nashik collided. One of the buses was overtaking another vehicle and hit the second bus. The injured were admitted to a hospital in Buldhana. 32 passengers with minor injuries were given first aid at a nearby hospital.

The highway police informed that the buses have been moved away from the road. This is the second major accident in Buldhana recently. Twenty-five people, including women and children, died in another accident on the 1st of this month.
