KOCHI: BJP state president K Surendran said UP model should be implemented to protect law and order in Kerala as the government has failed to prevent atrocities against women and children. He was talking to the media after paying tributes to the five-year-old girl sexually abused and killed in Aluva.
The police system has been completely collapsed in Kerala. The way criminals and mafias are dealt with in UP should be followed in Kerala too. He said the home department is a total failure. It is not a small matter that the child could not be found even after a search for 18 hours.
‘The migrants should be keenly observed, the crimes amongst them and their use of drugs. A special police system is needed for this. Kerala Police has no mechanism to investigate who all comes to the state and what they do here. Crimes unheard anywhere in the world are constantly taking place in Kerala. Kerala is bowing down in shame,’ said Surendran.
