LUCKNOW: A policeman who posted a video of himself riding a bike at high speed in uniform has been suspended. Uttar Pradesh Constable Sandeep Kumar Choubey has been suspended. An investigation has also been initiated into the incident. The current suspension is for violating the police chief's order that police personnel should not post private pictures and videos on social media. Top officials hinted that further action will be taken if other crimes are noticed in the investigation.

The video appeared yesterday. The video shows the policeman doing stunts on a racing bike at high speed. The video went viral within hours. The video also includes the voice of a girl asking 'Are you not afraid of enemies'? to which Sandeep Kumar responds, "Why fear enemies? What is death? If not today, tomorrow we will die. If you have fear, fear God, why fear insects and spiders?". This has also been controversial. Some say that it refers to high-ranking officials. But Sandeep Kumar has not yet commented on this.
