THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is a possibility of moderate rain at isolated places in Kannur and Kasaragod in the next three hours in the state. This was informed in the warning issued by the Central Meteorological Department.

Meantime, the ban on trawling will end this midnight in the state from today till August 2 in South West Bay of Bengal off South Sri Lanka coast, South Tamil Nadu coast, Gulf of Mannar adjoining Comorin areas till 03-08-2023, South East and adjoining Central East Bay of Bengal today, 31-08-2023. Central East Bay of Bengal on 07-2023 and Central Bay of Bengal on 03-08-2023, North Andhra Pradesh Coast and Central Bay of Bengal from 01-08-2023 to 02-08-2023 45 to 55 kmph and occasional up to 65 kmph strong wind speed is possible.

There is a chance of strong wind and bad weather in Andaman Sea with speed up to 40 to 45 kmph and occasional up to 55 kmph from 31-07-2023 to 02-08-2023.
