KOZHIKODE: Complaint that hotel staff were beaten up for the delay in cooking Alfahm. Three employees of the New Malabar Express Hotel in Thiruvambadi Elanthukadavu, Kozhikode were the ones who got attacked. The incident happened at 10 pm last night. The attack was carried out by a few men. The hotel staff lodged a police complaint against them. CCTV footage of the accused beating up the employees has been received. The footage has also been handed over to the police along with the complaint.

A group of youths reached the hotel last night and demanded the hotel staff to give Alfahm within five minutes. The staff replied that it would take 15 minutes, provoking the accused. The men then abused the hotel staff and an argument broke out between the two. Later, they took the employees out of the hotel and beat them up. Three employees of the hotel were injured in the incident. Thiruvambadi police registered a case on the complaint and started an investigation.
