BENGALURU: Police have arrested a dance teacher and his friend for raping his ex-girlfriend. The arrested have been identified as dance teacher Andy George and his friend Santhosh Sasikumar. As per the complaint, Andy George and his friends blackmailed the young woman several times by threatening her by showing her private footage.

The young woman met Andy George through social media two years ago. The two soon fell in love. In the meantime, Andy George had taken her home several times. According to the woman, Andy George had captured her private footage while they were close. In 2021, the woman withdrew from the relationship. The woman said that Andy George raped her several times after threatening to circulate her private footage. The woman also said that the accused shared her private footage with his friends and forced her to have sex with them.

Police said that Andy George had taken Rs 5000 from his friends to have sex with the woman. The accused circulated the footage of the young woman through Instagram after she ended the relationship with him. Following this, the woman approached the police.
