NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi urged party leaders in Kerala to emulate Congress's success in Karnataka and do a repeat of the same kind in Kerala. Gandhi talked about the dire need to remain coherent and elucidated how unity among workers can be the game-changer in Kerala. Rahul Gandhi was talking with congress leaders from Kerala at AICC headquarters in New Delhi.

In Karnataka, the Congress regained power only because of the restraint and unity that was palpable among congress leaders. Rahul Gandhi reminded the party workers about the need to drop all animosity and work on a common cause. Gandhi also advised party members not to fall into the pit of religious hatred. The sudden meeting was planned to discuss the preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge also spoke with the leaders.

Meanwhile, AICC general secretary K C Venugopal gave a word of promise to Rahul Gandhi saying Congress will win 20 out of 20 seats in Kerala. He said the current swing against the government will be an advantage and assured about Congress returning to power soon in Kerala.
