NEDUMBASSERY: An Air India Express flight that left the Nedumbassery international airport at 10.36 pm on Wednesday for Sharjah made an emergency landing within an hour. Flight IX 411 made the emergency landing at around 11.30 a.m. after smoke was seen inside the plane and a strong odor was felt in the cabin. The 170 passengers of the flight were sent to Sharjah on another flight at 5.14 am on Thursday. No technical issues were found in the preliminary inspection by the engineering department.
