SRINAGAR: Young soldier Javaid Ahmad, who went missing under mysterious circumstances from Jammu and Kashmir, has been found. It was the Kashmir police who announced this on Twitter. The police said that the soldier, who was found by the Kulgam police, will be questioned after a medical examination.

Javaid went missing from Kulgam district on July 29. He was a soldier in the Ladakh region. He should have reported back for duty on July 30.

According to Javaid's family, Javaid went missing after he went out to purchase some items. Later, the soldier's car was found near the market. Blood stains were also found inside the car. Following this, the police registered a case and launched a search. The police had examined Javaid's call details and interrogated many people associated with him.

Earlier, Javaid's family had come out with a video stating that they are suspecting that Javaid was kidnapped by terrorists. Javaid Ahmad had been living in Achathal village in Kulgam district.
