Young Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya spent time with fishermen as part of his new film. Prior to Chandoo Mondeti's pan-India blockbuster ;Karthikeya 2,’ the actor visited the village of K Machilesham in Srikakulam and connected with fishing families.

The purpose of the meeting was to deeply comprehend the fishermen's way of life, their land, culture and traditions. Naga Chaitanya engaged in this experience to enrich his portrayal in the upcoming film tentatively titled ‘NC 23.’

The film is centred around an incident that happened in 2018. Naga Chaitanya expressed that he became highly intrigued when the director shared the story with him six months ago. The narrative is woven from authentic events. Producer Vas and Chandoo has invested two years in researching and shaping it. Naga Chaitanya commented, ‘It's an incredibly inspiring story. We embarked on this journey to fathom the fishermen's lifestyle, their body language and the village's fabric.’

The film, produced by Bunny Vas under the banner of Geetha Arts, featuring Allu Aravind is currently in pre-production. The team is poised to commence shooting this month.
