PATHANAMTHITTA: A woman has been arrested for attempting to murder a woman who had just given birth by injecting an empty syringe. Anusha (25), a native of Pullukulangara, was arrested for trying to kill Sneha (24), a native of Kayamkulam. The incident took place at a private hospital in Parumala, Pathanamthitta. Anusha is a friend of Sneha's husband.
Sneha was admitted to the hospital four days ago. Anusha came to the hospital in the guise of a nurse at around three o'clock today. After that, she went to the room of Sneha, who was undergoing treatment after giving birth and tried to kill her by injecting an empty syringe. It is reported that Anusha, a pharmacist by profession, performed the act knowing the danger of air entering the artery.
After the air injection, Sneha had a heart attack, but it was reported that she is out of danger. The accused was detained by the staff on suspicion when she was walking out of the room. Later the police took the woman into custody. A case of attempted murder has been registered against her.
