PATHANAMTHITTA: Amid the myth controversy, a CPI leader has posted a photo of himself in front of images of Hindu gods including Lord Ganapathy on Facebook.CPI District Secretary and library council state vice president A P Jayan posted the photo with the caption 'The beginning of a journey'. Criticizing this, AIYF district secretary S. Akhil came forward with the post, 'Those who told stories can go ahead with it, what Shamseer said was science'.
A P Jayan told Kerala Kaumudi that his photo should not be associated with the myth controversy. Not only Lord Ganapathy but Lord Krishna and Buddha are also present in the picture. He said that the picture was taken yesterday at the craft centre when he arrived at the Kochi airport to attend a meeting related to the library movement in Delhi. There are reactions to and against the photo.
