KOCHI: KSRTC gave an affidavit in the High Court that there was no discrimination in increasing the concession to 30 percent for unaided school and self-financinf college students. Deputy Law Officer PN Hema said in the affidavit that such action is due to the current economic crisis. Facilities like lunch are available only for government and aided schools. Ration distribution is also restricted. The affidavit says that none of this is discrimination and that concession is not a legal right. The affidavit is in a petition filed by the CBSE School Management Association and two students against the reduction of concession.
