POOVAR: A youth went missing after bathing in the sea with his friends. The said person is Jithesh (19), son of Jibin residing at Kuzhinjavilakam House near Poowar KSRTC Depot, went missing in the sea near Pozhikkara, Poovar. Jithesh and friends went here after playing football and he went missing amid strong waves. A search is underway under the leadership of the Poovar Coastal Police. Salvan Joy (20), from the Attupuram Kuruvithottam house,who was bathing with him in the sea, was rescued by coastal police.
