NILAMEL: Chadayamangalam police arrested a youth in the case of molesting a minor girl. Ananthu (23), a resident of Chavara, was arrested.

He met the 16-year-old girl from Chadayamangalam through Instagram three years ago. The accused took the girl to various resorts and raped her.The young woman withdrew from the romantic relationship after the behavior of the young man who was addicted to drugs became bad.This infuriated the accused, who then uploaded the girl's picture to Instagram.

With this, the girl told the family and lodged a complaint with the Chadayamangalam police. The arrest was made during the investigation focused on the mobile phone of the accused who tried to escape.He was produced in court and remanded.
