PATHANAMTHITTA: The accused in the case of trying to kill a woman who was undergoing treatment after delivery in a private hospital with a syringe was taken for evidence gathering. Anusha (27), a native of Kayamkulam Pullukulangara, tried to kill Sneha (25), a native of Kariyilakulangara, Kayamkulam.

The attempt was to kill her by injecting air into the arteries using a syringe without medicine. She injected the syringe three times. The accused came wearing a veil, mask and a nurse's uniform to give the injection.

Anusha had a clear understanding of the hospital. Thiruvalla DYSP informed that currently, Anusha is the only accused in the case. The police also stated that they will check if anyone else is involved in the case.

Sneha's husband Arun and Anusha fell in love when they were in college. Relatives said that Arun was not in the hospital when the

murder attempt took place. When Anusha arrived, only Sneha and her mother were in the room.

The accused came to see Sneha after asking permission from Arun. But it is being checked whether Arun knew the murder plan. He was not in the hospital at the time of the incident. Meanwhile, Sneha's father responded that he is not suspicious about his son-in-law.
