ALAPPUZHA: Husband of a 30-year-old woman beat up her 20-year-old boyfriend when the husband found out that she came with her boyfriend to write the PSC exam. The incident took place near Nedumudy Kottaram school yesterday afternoon. When the 30-year-old woman from Ambalapuzha left for the examination at Kottaram School, her suspicious husband followed her.

The husband stayed on the premises until the exam was over. After writing the exam, the young woman was about to get on a bike with her 20-year-old boyfriend and her husband jumped in front of her. After pulling her boyfriend from the bike he started beating him, and the young woman ran away. Eventually, the locals intervened and calmed down the scene.

Nedumudy police came and took both of them away. For the past one and a half years, the young woman has been living in a different house due to her husband's harassment. The police did not file a case as both of them had no complaints.
