VELLARADA: “You should study science along with history,” said Kerala speaker A N Shamseer to students here in Ottasekharamangalam on Sunday.

He was inaugurating a program organized by Suryakanti at Ottasekharamangalam Janardanapuram Higher Secondary School to felicitate students who excelled in SSLC and PLUS two exams in the Parassala constituency.

However, the speaker was tight-lipped on the current 'myth' controversy that is spreading like wildfire across Kerala. After the event, when the speaker was reaching back to his car, journalists circled him with questions regarding the 'myth' remark but the speaker snubbed all.

The speaker said that drugs are the biggest villain tormenting the education sector in today's Kerala, and asked teachers and parents to be vigilant on their children.
