Actor Bala has announced his intention to initiate legal proceedings against YouTuber Aju Alex. Aju had made allegations that Bala had confined and threatened Santosh Varki popularly known as ‘Aarattannan’. Subsequent to this incident, the actor went live on Facebook along with Santosh Varki.

Santosh Varki disclosed that he has been dealing with OCD and has been on medication for the past two decades. The medication is also visible in the video. ‘I have challenges with memory and the medication increases my appetite. My father was deeply concerned about me. I have consulted numerous psychologists and psychiatrists. I had an appointment with my doctor a week ago. I voluntarily came forward,’ Santosh Varki stated. He emphasized that Bala did not confine him.

‘While I prayed to God at home for the truth to prevail, Santosh Varki himself came forward. I still retain certain doubts. He has clarified his OCD condition and offered apologies for some of his mistakes. However, I still have so many doubts. I suspect that the YouTuber who produces content under the name 'Chekuthan' has likely used marijuana and MDMA. Someone needed to voice their concerns and I have taken that step. Such behaviour will no longer be tolerated. He claims to have been engaging in this conduct for a decade, but his time is up. I am prepared to address this through legal means,’ Bala conveyed in the video.
