THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have arrested a youth who tried to kill a man using a snake. Gundu Rao alias Kichu was caught by the police in the incident that took place in Kattakkada.

Kichu had attempted to kill Raju, a native of Ambalathinkala. Raju had questioned Kichu for harassing his daughter. Kichu allegedly tried to murder Raju in retaliation for this, according to the police.

The accused threw the snake through the window into Raju's room. The accused has admitted the crime to the police.
