PATHANAMTHITTA: A woman was beaten to death in a clash that broke out amidst a way dispute between her relatives. The dead is Radha, wife of Vijayan of Thiruvalla Niranam. Chandran and Rajan, natives of Niranam were arrested in connection with the incident. The incident happened at 5 pm last evening.

There was a dispute between Vijayan and relatives Chandran and Rajan in connection with the way. Radha was beaten when she came to disperse the two when the argument escalated.

Locals rushed Radha, who sustained serious injuries on her nose, to a private hospital in Thiruvalla. She died in the evening while undergoing treatment. After her death was confirmed, the police took the two into custody and registered their arrest.
