KOTTAYAM: The owner of the car which caught fire at Pandachira in Vakathanam, is in a critical condition. Sabu (57) of Vakathanam Pandachira Ottukattu sustained serious burns. The car has been completely burnt.

The accident happened after he was returning home after service. The incident happened 20 meters away from home. The owner was taken out of the car by the fire force from Changanassery. Sabu was alone in the car and his condition is very serious.

A youth had died yesterday after his car caught fire at Kandiyoor in Alappuzha. The dead is Krishna Prakash alias Kannan (35). The incident happened Monday early morning at 12.45 am. The car exploded with a big sound while he was entering his house.
