ALAPPUZHA: The police is investigating the cause of the accident that resulted in the tragic death of a young man due to a car fire. Inhalers were stored in the car as the deceased Krishna Prakash was undergoing treatment for respiratory issues. The investigative team is exploring the possibility that the explosion of such items might have triggered the accident.

Experts have indicated that inhalers have the potential to explode. Additionally, the investigation is focusing on Krishna Prakash's mobile phone. It has been confirmed that a short circuit was not the underlying cause of the accident. The forensic team, responsible for examining the vehicle, will promptly submit their report to the district police chief.

Krishna Prakash(Kannan-35) resides on rent in Kandiyur, lost his life in a car fire around 12.45 pm on Sunday. Local residents noticed the fire and attempted to extinguish it, but their efforts were in vain. The fire brigade and the police managed to put out the fire eventually. Unfortunately, by that time Krishna Prakash had already died. It's worth noting that both the seat belt and hand brake were engaged. An initial inspection conducted by the Motor Vehicle Department revealed no defects in the fuse unit or the battery terminal.
