‘The BJP has already started arrangements for the Puthupally by-election. A decision on the final candidate will be decided in a day or two. The party's decision is to proceed in such a way that it can conduct a strong campaign and a good contest.

The core group meeting of the party and the NDA meeting will be held in Thrissur on August 12. The final candidate list will be released that evening. You can expect anyone there. We are keeping all possibilities open. A clear picture will be available when the final candidate list is released,' Surendran told media.
