INDORE: Doctors removed a 15 kg tumour from the stomach of a 41-year-old woman who came to the hospital with severe abdominal pain. The incident took place in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. More than a dozen doctors removed the tumour in two hours. The woman sought treatment at the hospital after experiencing severe abdominal pain while walking and eating. Doctor Atul Vyas, who led the surgery at the hospital, said that the tumour was found during the subsequent examination.

The doctors revealed that even a small mistake in the surgery could have caused the death of the woman as the tumour was found surrounded by many nerves. The 41-year-old, who underwent surgery, weighs 49 kg. A 15 kg tumour grew in the stomach and the stomach started to swell. Then even daily routines became difficult. The doctors informed that the tumour was benign and the woman is out of danger.
