THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thomas K Thomas, the ruling party MLA, alleged that two attempts were made in the NCP to implicate him in a false case. He raised two FIRs in the Assembly on Wednesday. Thomas K Thomas raised this while giving an explanation in the adjournment motion notice introduced by the opposition on the allegation of conspiracy to kill him.
"The first complaint was filed alleging that I tried to molest a woman member in the NCP meeting. When the police investigated, it was found that there was no truth in the complaint. Later, another complaint was filed alleging that I tried to insult a woman in a hotel in Harippad. Upon checking the hotel's CCTV camera, it was found that the woman had left the place 20 minutes before I arrived. Otherwise, I would have had to spend 90 days in jail without even getting bail on a false complaint," Thomas K Thomas said.
