NEW DELHI: A change in government is important for the welfare of the people of Kerala, said BJP national secretary Anil Antony. In an interview to news agency ANI, Anil alleged that there is widespread corruption and communalism in the government led by Pinarayi Vjayan.

Anil said that he is confident that the people of Kerala will remove this corrupt government in the next election and that the BJP will come to power. Kerala has seen the biggest corruptions and scams in the history of Kerala in the last seven years. Communalism is also on the rise in the state. It was during this time that the gold smuggling case, in which even the chief minister's office was allegedly involved, came to light. The income tax interim settlement board recently found that the chief minister's daughter received a monthly payment from a private company. A raid by the income tax department at a private company found the details of the people who had received such money. Trade union leaders and media organizations are among them, alleged Anil Antony.

‘There must be a change in governance for the welfare of the people of Kerala. I am confident that the people of Kerala will remove this corrupt government and bring the BJP to power in the next assembly elections. The BJP is demanding the resignation of the chief minister in the context of such allegations of corruption,' Anil Antony said.
