When Rahul Gandhi returned after the speech, the BJP members shouted. Meanwhile, Rahul waved at K C Venugopal and other Congress leaders who were in the visitor's gallery. Following this Rahul Gandhi waved towards the BJP benches.

The Union Minister's allegation was made without mentioning Rahul Gandhi's name. "I object to something. The one who was given the chance to speak before me displayed indecency before leaving. It is only a misogynistic man who can give a flying kiss to a Parliament which seats female members of Parliament. Such undignified conduct was never before seen in the Parliament of the country- said the minister. BJP's women MPs have complained to the Speaker on the issue. At the same time, BJP MP Hema Malini responded that she did not see anything like this when asked by the media.
