NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the opposition's motion of no confidence on the Manipur issue has become a blessing for the central government. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, Modi said that the no-confidence motion is not a test for the government but for the opposition.
"People have full faith in the government. People had shown distrust of the opposition in the last election. Despite being given five years, the opposition could not adequately prepare for the no-confidence motion debate," Modi said.
"All the corrupt parties are now united. The opposition held UPA's last rites in Bengaluru. The opposition is worried about its political future. BJP will repeat record victory in 2024 as well. Even after five years, the opposition will come up with a no-confidence motion like now. By then, India will have grown into the top three economic powers in the world," the PM said.
