KOCHI: The police have reported that the woman who was tragically killed last night at the Oyo Hotel in Kalur had endured severe mental and physical torment before her death. The accused, Nausheed had recorded the footage of the torture on his mobile phone and the police have retrieved these scenes.

Reshma (22) hailing from Changanassery was fatally stabbed by her acquaintance Nausheed who comes from Kozhikode at the Oyo Hotel in Kalur last night. The incident occurred on Wednesday at ten o'clock in the evening. Overwhelmed by the torture, Reshma pleaded with Nausheed to end her suffering by taking her life. Following a heated argument Nausheed used a knife to stab Reshma in her hand. She sustained multiple stab wounds to the back of her neck and tragically succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

Initially, Nausheed claimed that he killed Reshma out of anger. The young woman had spoken disrespectfully about his physical condition to her friends. Nausheed explained that the subsequent argument escalated and led to the fatal stabbing.
