NEW DELHI: ISRO has released stunning images captured by Chandrayaan 3, the probe carrying out India's lunar mission. The space agency has released various images of the Moon and Earth taken from the Chandrayaan-3 mission's indigenous lander module. These images were captured by different cameras on the lander on July 14, the day of the launch, and August 6.
It was the Lander Imager camera that captured the image of the Earth after the launch. The image of the lunar surface was taken by the Lander Horizontal Velocity Camera. On August 6, ISRO had released the first image captured by the Chandrayaan probe. The image, which shows the probe's solar panel and the lunar surface in the background, was well received.
