NAGERCOIL: A woman suffering from mental imbalance committed a ghastly act of suicide along with her two daughters. The incident happened in Anjugramam in Kanyakumari district where Yesudasan's wife Anita (45), children Sahaya Divya (19), and Sahaya Pooja (16) committed mass suicide.

The incident happened on Thursday morning. Yesudasan died 10 years ago while working at Gulf. It was Anita who looked after her daughters fighting all odds. However, she suffered from many anxiety attacks brought in by the shock of her husband's untimely death. Anita’s elder daughter was studying in college while the second one was a 12th std student. On Thursday morning, all the doors of the house remained closed even after many hours which turned the locals suspicious. The windows were opened by the neighbors only to witness the three bodies hanging from the ceilings.

Anjugramam police have shifted the dead bodies to Asaripallam medical college. According to police, Anita might have persuaded her daughters to end their life rather than live in agony brought in by the loss of Yesudasan.
