LONDON: Prithvi Shaw, who is out of the Indian team, scored a double century in the One Day Cup in English County. Shaw scored 244 runs off just 153 balls with 11 sixes and 28 fours for Northamptonshire against Somerset. Shaw reached 100 off 81 balls and completed 200 off just 129 balls.

Shaw is the third player in the history of the tournament to score a double century. Shaw's 244 runs is also the sixth-highest individual score in the history of List A cricket. Northamptonshire won the match by 87 runs. Prithvi Shaw, who made his Test debut with a century against the West Indies in 2018, was able to wear the Indian jersey only in five Tests, six ODIs, and one Twenty20. He has been out of the team for almost two years.
