DUBAI: An Indian who has been working as a porter in Dubai has won Dh 1 million (more than Rs 2 crores) through a lucky draw. Hyderabad native Venkata won the prize through the Mahzooz Guaranteed weekly draw.

Venkata also won Dh250 after matching three out of five numbers during the 140th draws. Venkata has been working as a porter in one of the famous supermarket chains in the UAE. Venkata, who has been living in the UAE for 13 years, has been working hard to support his family of four children.

Venkata said that he still finds it hard to believe that he has won the prize. "I am very happy. This is the first time that I'm winning such a huge amount. I will use the prize money to pay off the home loan first. I'll also clear other debts and use the rest of the money to start a business," Venkata said.
