NEW YORK: An Indian-origin doctor has been arrested for masturbating and exhibiting nudity in front of a 14-year-old girl during a flight. Dr Sudipta Mohanty (42), of Indian origin living in Cambridge, Massachusetts was arrested by the police. Action has been taken in the incident that happened last year.

He masturbated in front of a 14-year-old girl on a flight from Honolulu, Hawaii to Boston. The incident took place on May 27, 2022. According to the complaint, his actions were covered with a blanket. The girl herself testified against him in the Boston court. It is stated in the testimony that he did this obscene act on the plane for five hours. The court was also told that the girl, who felt uncomfortable with his actions, had shifted to another seat.

After the plane landed, the girl informed her family. They informed the security officials at the airport. The officers questioned him but he responded that he did not remember anything.
