NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has requested people to change the profile picture of their social media accounts to the Tricolour flag on account of the Independence Day celebrations. The proposal is part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. The profile picture of Modi's social media accounts was also changed to the national flag.

Modi had appealed to the people of the country on Friday, to be a part of Har Ghar Tiranga from August 13 to 15. Changing the profile picture of social media accounts was also suggested as part of this. Modi said that this is to maintain a deep bond between the country and the people. He also asked people to upload their pictures with the national flag on www.harghartiranga.com.

In the spirit of the #HarGharTiranga movement, let us change the DP of our social media accounts and extend support to this unique effort which will deepen the bond between our beloved country and us.
