KOZHIKODE: Police once again rejected the report submitted by the medical board on the incident in which scissors got stuck in Harsheena's stomach during surgery. The investigating officer AC K Sudarshan handed over a report to the City Police Commissioner stating that the scissors stuck in Harsheena's stomach were from the Kozhikode Medical College and the culprits were the two doctors and two nurses who performed the surgery that day. The Commissioner submitted the report to the Director of Health Service.

AC Sudarshanan submitted the new report stating that he is sticking to the first investigation report against the medical college in the case of the scissors getting stuck in Harsheena's stomach. The first report of AC was rejected by the medical board led by Kozhikode DMO. The majority position of the medical board was that there was no valid evidence in the police report to show that the scissors got stuck in Harsheena's stomach while she was at medical college. With the two departments of the government reporting in two ways, the health department and the health minister are in a dilemma. Even though Veena George, the health minister, claims that she is always by Harsheena's side, the fact that she is unable to receive the justice she deserves continues to be a serious problem.
