LUCKNOW: A youth was shot in the head by armed assailants while he was carrying his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter on his shoulder. The incident took place in Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The youth named Shoaib (28), who is seriously injured, is undergoing treatment.
The incident happened the other day. Shoaib was walking to his relative's house with his daughter at night when the assailants reached the spot and shot him in the head. Shoaib was first taken to Rajkiya Medical College. He was later shifted to a hospital in Bareilly and then to Delhi after his health deteriorated. The injured child is also undergoing treatment.
The CCTV footage of the incident has come out. The video shows two assailants reaching the spot on a bike and stopping the bike near Shoaib who was walking along the road. Soon, a person went near Shoaib and shot him in the head. The assailants fled the spot immediately after Shoaib and his daughter fell down. The video also shows locals rushing to the spot soon after hearing the noise.
