MUMBAI: Manager and chef of a popular hotel in Mumbai were arrested after a customer found a dead rat in a chicken dish. The shocking incident took place in a prominent hotel in Mumbai's Bandra area.

Complainant Anurag Singh said that he had gone to the hotel to eat with his friends. The chicken dish arrived as ordered. After noticing a difference in taste, Anurag discovered a rat in the food upon closer inspection. When asked about this, the hotel manager did not give a clear answer, says Anurag Singh in the complaint.

Based on the complaint, the Bandra police have registered a case against the hotel manager Vivian Albert Shikavar, the hotel chef and the supplier. The police informed that the investigation is underway.
